Keep Praying!!-10/30/09

Dear Friends and Family,

I hope this Friday is proving to be a blessing for all!! I just wanted to do a quick update on yesterdays request and let you know to keep praying!!

I think we need to concentrate the prayer to the Superior Vena Cava. It needs to be open so the blood flow to the heart can normalize. This is possibly the reason for the swollen face and neck. And also the increase in my heart rate. I do not feel worse today and slept pretty comfortaby last night. I still wake up for long stretches but they have been great talks with God moments that have really filled me up!

I did call Dr. Kerr's office this morning to run things by a nurse who could run things by him. But he was out sick. And I do not even know the other Dr. He just got a new associate. I haven't met him yet. How complicated to start at the beginning with him. So I didn't. I talked to a nurse that I know was a believer and actually goes to church with the Kerr's. So that helped. Bascially we are going to watch things over the weekend. If things get worse I don't have to be the hero I can call the Dr. or I can go to the ER. But really I feel this is God giving us an opportunity for more time to work this problem away completely through prayer. The fact that things are not worse strengthens me to keep pressing forward with the prayers!!

Thank you all for this! I feel excited with what He is doing! We are all in this together!!

I love you all!!

Peggy

Dear Peggy, Al and I so believe in praying the Word of God, because the Word has LIFE inherent in it. When you speak that Word back to God, laying claim to His precious promises, He honors your faith applied to that Word and performs it for YOU. Don't be afraid to "take hold" of His promises, but rather be aggressive, and as Al said according to Matthew 11, take those promises by a forceful endeavor. Let the devil know he cannot keep you from the healing bought for you by His (Jesus') precious BLOOD.

You've already made your confession of faith, and certainly NOTHING is impossible with Him; but also, ALL things are possible to those who believe. As you can, get on www.crosswalk.com (I like the Classic version, that you can find on the 2nd page top left, after doing your initial search). Gather your ammo (promises, Words on healing) and let the Lord know you're putting the whole weight of your faith on His Word.

Please know this is not saying you have not done this, but to say keep on relying totally on Him more and more. We are in agreement with you and are with you whatever direction you believe the Lord is leading you. However, be careful not to leave a window of opportunity for the enemy to come in and steal what God has promised and you have laid hold of.

We love you and continue to thank God for your total healing including the strengthening of your legs and the opening of any blockage that has caused the swelling (be it stent or preferrably by our Creator Himself). The joy of the Lord is your strength. He is the very air/breath we breathe; breathe in of His Spirit of LIFE being conscious of that LIFE penetrating every cell, organ, gland, every part of your being.

With love,
Al and Phyllis
