Hello Friends and Family,
Today began so very windy. Major East Winds blowing everything around. And of course it had to be a trash day. When I parked at the Doctors office I prayed that no big branches would fall off and hurt the car. Why not, God cares about the small stuff too...right?
I go in and the first chemo was virtually painless. The nurse got my vein the first time and the drugs did not make me nauseous at all. It took all of an hour and a half. I'm happy to report that there was nothing exciting happening here. However, when I got out to my car I was happy to see that God did answer my prayer with a YES! No big branches fell on the car! But, a flock of pooping seagulls did happen along. Yuck!!! My car and the one next to me were covered. Oh well!!
After this I went to LaQuisha's to get Josh. Here she reported that he ate a complete second breakfast...eggs, waffles, bacon, oranges and apple juice. I think the boy might be part hobbit. He was thrilled to come home and put on his swim suit and sponge bob flip flops and help me wash the car. No more bird poop!! I couldn't handle it one minute longer.
I will be going in Wed. Thurs. Fri. and Sat. to get a nupigen shot (not sure how it is spelled yet). This drug helps keep the white cell count up where it needs to be...hopefully. Still not sure how much these phramaceuticals are going to cost. We will continue to just trust the Lord!! Next Chemo will be next Monday morning.
Thanks ever so much for all the prayers!! Priceless I tell ya!!
Love to all, Peggy

I am praying for you today! I decided that I had better check the blog today. Then I find that today was your first treatment. I pray that you continue to do well after the treatments, and that after all this is over you will never have to go through them again. walk in health and in wholeness! Al N. always tells me, "read Psalm 103:1-6, begin to bless the Lord, get yourself into an attitude of gratitude. Tell your body to come in line with the Word of God, say to yourself " I am healed from the top of my head to the tip of my toes!! Rick B
You are beautiful and God's precious child!
I am so sorry you have to go through this but as I read my devotions it said this......"He wants His light to shine out from you in order that others can be saved and freed and satisfied. How does this happen? Only by breaking-You cannot be a blessing until you first go through breaking. Why? Because we live in a broken world. People are broken. People are in tough situations. We who have the light of Jesus Christ can only touch them to the degree that we are able to relate to them.
Peggy, You are a flood light for Jesus....shining brightly!!!!
Take Care!!!!

Well, I'll take bird poop over tree branch any day! I'm glad you are feeling well after today, and I pray that it continues over the next few months.

Hi Peggy, God has a sense of humor - and He does answer prayers! I pray He keeps you feeling good throughout treatment, and keeps the peace in your heart and whole being! You are amazing and are teaching us all. What a disciple of Christ you are! Love you! Ann
Hi Peggy,
I hope you are having a good day today! The weather has been so beautiful, I hope you are getting a chance to enjoy it! Grab your little ones and go to the beach or a park and just ENJOY!! God gave us so much beauty to experience if we just take the time to do it!
Take Care!

Hang in there!!! I'll keep praying for your treatments and finances- and even protection over the "small stuff". You are a bright light shining on a hill for all to see! God's glory is revealed in you! Keep smiling and be encouraged that you have many people loving you and praying for you!
Ihope you and the fam have a great weekend! I pray for you all the time and am SO happy thatall went well this week. I hate shots! Haven't they made a pill for that yet? Geez it's not like they don't have one for everything else! I love you dearly and will talk to you soon.
Peggy;
Hang on tight. As I was praying I felt as if you were on one of those park rides that scare the heck out of you even before you get on. Once your on it you abandon yourself to the ride. It takes you through all kinds of up and downs, not to mention the g force turns. Stomach turning and heart stopping though it may be when it comes to a stop with exuberance you throw your hands in the air, scream and let it all out.
If we all hang on tight to God as we go through this with you we must all exuberantly lift our arms to God and scream our praises even before it is finished knowing His promises are true.
We Pray:
Father we praise You and give You thanks for all things. We hang on tight to You as we take this ride with our sister Peggy.
Jesus You are our Lord and Savior..."How can I not sing praise for my Redeemer set me free"
Holy Spirit we love You and thank You for the faith, comfort and wisdom that You fill us with.
We speak to that mountain in our sister called disease and say in the name of Jesus go into the sea. We speak to that unfruitful fig tree called sickness and say be dried up. Never return and what you have stolen must be returned seven fold.
Holy Spirit pour out your grace, peace, comfort and wisdom on our sister to overflowing.
This we pray in the Mighty, Powerful and Wonderful name of Jesus Christ...AMEN
Blessings and Love
Patrick and Mary C.
