Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers, Peg & I had no idea how many people read the blog, track her progress and are praying for her. We have been overwhelmed with the prayers of the saints! Thank you for that, we have been greatly encouraged by family members and friends who have been told similar things, but in the end it was not as dire as the doctors had predicted.
Pastor Steve had shared with me on Sunday, that in Mark 9:24, a man talking to Jesus about his son and asking for healing said, "I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief."
We believe that God is repairing Peggy's body, healing every tissue, every cell, that there will be no sign or trace of any carcinoid or disease in her body.
As I reflect on all the different things that different doctors have spoken, what is interesting, is that all of the doctors are amazed that she has had almost no symptoms prior to the surgery (only night sweats) and no abnormalities anywhere in her body, except the neuroendecrine tumor. They have thoroughly inspected every square inch of her with CT scans, X-rays, PET Scans, nucular scans, numerous blood tests, urine test, etc.
While we want to listen to the doctor's wisdom, doctors do not always have all the answers, nor do they always know what is going on, nor can they explain God and his working!
We are praying and trusting that the next round of test would show...nothing! The blood test would be clear, the CT scan would be clear, the Octreotide Scan would be clear, the urine tests would be clear.
Thanks for the prayers as we press through this challenge...Larry
