4/29 - "Bibopsy"

Hi Dear Ones!!

I sound like an old lady saying that. But you all really are so dear to me and all of our family!! God is moving with all these prayers happening and it is so exciting to see.

I had my lung biopsy yesterday before I left for the the Women's conference, that I was suppose to help with. (which by the way was fabulous) Some of you were there and what a blessing it was!! The procedure was a little more gnarly than I was prepared for. I guess because some complications came up.

But, it just kept taking me back to an email Kim Bangs sent me saying the that the enemy is sending out a smoke screen. Knowing this full well. I just refused to by into all this craziness. The procedure was more painful than I wanted it to be (me and the doctors too). And the recovery was longer than a normal biopsy would have been too. It's like the enemy is casting this shadow of fear and . And it's just that...a shadow. It's not the real thing. I believe God has already healed me and I just need to find out from that doctors that this is just that. My pain greatly subsided the next day. I almost feel normal again. I will keep resting.

I feel the Lord is saying that both Dennis and myself have an assignment to finish here on Earth. We have all of eternity to be in eternity. He still needs us here for a time longer. And we will to be to declare His great and awesome works!! Amen?? Amen!!

4/27 - Second Check

Dear Friends and Family,

We had a good day today. They were able to get me in to have my mammogram recheck today. And Good News!! All is normal there. I don't have to go back until my next annual check-up in one year. Hooray!! Just so thankful to check one of these big prayer requests off the list!! Thank-you all. Keep praying. I have my needle biopsy to my right lung tomorrow (fri).

I had a few appointments from this week rearranged to next week. Tues. I have an appointment with the Pulmonary Specialist and Thurs. I have an appointment with a Pulmonary Surgeon.

We appreciate all the love and support and prayers and everything in between that you have shown our family. We love you all!!

4/21 - Prayer Points

Dear Friends and family,

First of all. Thank's for all the love, support and prayers you have shown to Lauri and Dennis. What a week we are all having. But we all know that none of this is surprising God. He is in control. Thank you Jesus. I am sure most of you know by now that Dennis had a heart attack on Wed. He is recovering at CMH in Ventura. Please keep praying for him and his family.
He still has a lot of healing to do.

Just wanted to let you all know ahead of time about some appointments I have next week. I would appreciate your prayers here. I have a real peace about all this. It is so neat to see God show up in ways you would never expect until you are in the midst of a storm. It really brings to light the scripture...I will fear no evil. There is no need to!! God is right here by our sides!!

Mon. I go in to CMH lab and have draw.

Tues. I go to a GYN to have some cells sampled from my uterus. (Pray they find no cancer here!!)

Thurs. I have a consultation with a Pulmonary specialist. I think he will mostly just explain things in further detail and also give his opinion.
(Please pray this is a hopeful opinion.)

Fri. I have an appointment at the radiology place to have a needle put into my chest where the mass is and cell samples draw out to be tested. (Again, please pray there is no cancer or any life threatening thing here either.)

Also, I need to have a second look at my right breast from the baseline Mammogram I had. I'm praying it is just a second look and nothing more.

Thanks for all the love and prayers going on for our family. You all mean so very much to us all. Please feel the love here. We all love and appreciate you soooooo much!!
